“We should keep driving. We're not going to keep driving, are we.”
Runs the coffee shop at the edge of town. Kind, unassuming, remembers everyone's name. Knew Reese's before she gave it.
“There you are. Cold night for it. Come warm up before you drive. On the house.”
Halloway's entire police department, such as it is — one desk, one landline, one endlessly patient smile.
“Nobody goes missing in Halloway, miss. Hardly anybody left to go missing.”
Episode 3 — The Orpheum
She came over from Ireland young and meant only to pass through Halloway — forty years ago. Now she keeps every room made up and warm.
“Sure, you'll stay the night, pet. It's no bother at all — there's tea in it for you.”
